I smiled at my best friend, Jeziray, grooving to the music. I bounced along to the loud beat of the music in the packed club, carrying my drink around with me. Dancing,laughing,boozing...that was the life for me. Well at least,that's what it was for me at the time. Caught up in all the parties, the tight shirts, the short skirts,the beer..all just to hide from my feelings that were eating away at my heart little by little,without me knowing much about it. I thought I was fine..I thought I was great..although I really knew I wasn't..but that didn't come out until I met him.

I walked out from my photoshoot backdrop and went to the "Backstage" area.

"Ooh..3 ladies for me today.." I thought, looking three of the good-looking assistants over appreciatively.

Brian nudged me in the ribs, "Man..more women?"

"Pshht.. I can have any girl I want, Frick,man..you know that! Why wait for the sweets when you can have them whenever you want?" I grinned.

Brian shook his head, "The fame is getting to you,man..2 girls last night..the week before...it was 4 wasn't it?"

The words gave me a pain,which I didn't like, I glared at Brian, "No it's not!" I said and made my way over to the 3 girls.

"Hey.." I gave my sexy grin.

The girls looked over at me and rolled their eyes.

"What?" I asked.

"You think we'd go for a player like you, Nick? Nuh-uh!" one said and all 3 walked off.

I was at a loss for words. My heart hurt. I knew I was a player and I knew the fame was getting to my head. I mean, come on, I've been treated like God since I was 14! But I didn't want to admit it. I was acting as a normal 19 year old guy would do..that's what I told myself and pushed the other thoughts from my head..that was, until I met her.
